Biopsey

Almost two weeks ago I went to my dermatologist for an irritation on my upper chest that wasn't going away. I originally thought it was from a heart monitor lead never really healed. The doctor took a biopsy of it and sent it away. She left me with a stitched up chest hole of about half-inch in length, but with six stitches. I go back this Thursday to have them taken out. It originally looked like a squashed spider, but now it looks like a stitched up hole. The results of the biopsy came back last week - it was basal cell carcinoma. Fortunately, it was not melanoma. I've already had squamous cell a couple of years ago on my forehead and had that removed. I've got the surgery scheduled for 17 September.
